Nous Sommes L’Été is a non-profit organization based in Montreal and Quebec City whose mission is to support the professionalization of dance artists through the development of their artistic voice and the creation of virtual and physical spaces that encourage listening, encounters and sharing. 

These spaces take the form of community listening, creative labs, and other creative development activities throughout the year.

Mandate

• Offer a one-on-one meeting to anyone who wants to discuss their practice

• Propose coherent artistic pairings

• Provide access to a workspace for research and creation time

• Create moments of sharing and exchange through workshops open to all

• Cause a concentration of activity in the same place during a given period

• Allow in-depth practice of different live arts disciplines (performer, choreographer, coach, director, etc.) as well as the support of a mentor

• Synchronize the availability of artist groups from Montreal and Quebec in order to create lasting relationships between the two environments
